All modules can be access either via the "My dashboard" or the "Module history" buttons in the navigation. You can find out more about a module, and when you are ready, click on "Start this module" button to register. The module will be available to you immediately.

Once you have started a module, you will simply work through the pages using the buttons within the module content. If the button to proceed to the next slide does not appear, it means that there is some interaction required within the current slide. If you leave the site during a course, you will be able to return to the page you were on when you left at any time.

Once you have finished working through the module content, you will take a short test, and then be asked to reflect on your learning.

When you have fully completed a module, it will also be shown on the "Module history" page. You can re-access the module content at any time from your if you would like to review what you have learnt.

Some of our modules use multiple choice questions to assess your understanding. You will need to score 70% to pass, and can have three attempts at the test. If you do not pass after three attempts, you will have two options:
  • try the test on another day - we strongly encourage you to use this time to revisit the source materials.
  • be shown the answers. If you choose this option, you will be able to continue to the reflection stage but will not be able to gain a certificate for this module.

Each module contains a short reflective exercise to help you reflect on what you have learnt. This information is saved and can be accessed in future either through your "Module history" or by returning to the module itself.

At the end of each module that you pass, you will be able to download a certificate. You can access your certificate at any time via the "Module history" page.

Module history

The "Module history" is your one-stop access to all the information about the modules you have passed and the certificates available to download. On this page you can:
  • see a list of your completed modules - and re-access the contents at any time
  • click to review the reflective work you carried out
  • download your certificate
You can also generate a PDF report of your module history. Simply set the start and end dates for the period you want to report on, and the system will automatically create a PDF which you can print or save.
